Planner help, storage and privacy

Roomfold is a browser room-layout planner for measured arrangements and early design decisions.

Start with a blank room

Open Room dimensions, enter the inside width and depth, and add furniture. Click adds an object at the centre; dragging places it on the plan. Select an object from Room objects to edit dimensions, coordinates, rotation and colour. Doors and windows have a host wall and a centre offset.

Browser and recovery support

Use a current Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox browser over HTTPS. Automatic saving requires browser storage and Web Locks; if either is unavailable, keep a JSON backup. WebGL enables the richer 3D view. If it cannot start, a Canvas preview remains available and objects can still be edited from the list. On phones, Room, Add furniture and Properties stay in the bottom controls.

Where your data goes

Room documents are stored in this browser profile on this origin. This app has no document-upload service, login or analytics integration. Fonts and planner assets are served from the site. Cloudflare Pages serves the published website. Cloudflare receives ordinary requests and may retain access logs, including network addresses; see the Cloudflare privacy policy. Snapshot fragments are not sent in normal HTTP requests, but anyone with the full link can decode the room.

Using the planner responsibly

Keep editable backups. Layout checks are advisory and do not establish construction, structural, fire, electrical or accessibility compliance. Verify measurements and product specifications before ordering or building. The catalogue uses procedural examples, not manufacturer-certified product models.
