Terms for Free planning, Plus passes and optional hosted previews.

Using Roomfold

These terms apply to the Roomfold browser room planner, Free access, Plus passes and optional hosted previews. Features available to you are shown in the planner and Help. If Checkout is marked as test mode, it uses Stripe sandbox: no real payment is accepted, test passes are temporary, and you must use test card details only. A test transaction is not a paid purchase.

Planning and responsibility

You may use Roomfold for personal and professional room-layout studies and use your exported plans. Verify measurements, furniture specifications and clearances yourself. Procedural catalogue examples and layout warnings are advisory; they are not certified product models, professional advice or proof of building, structural, fire, electrical or accessibility compliance.

Your work and backups

You retain rights to your own room data and notes. Rooms are stored in this browser profile on this site. Email verification and pass recovery do not synchronize or back up rooms. Clearing browser data, changing browser or device, or storage failure can make local work unavailable. Keep editable JSON backups and check exported files. Existing work is preserved when a pass expires; creating additional work follows the current Free limits.

Free and Plus passes

Where limits are enabled, Free allows one home with up to five rooms. Plus is a one-time pass for 24 hours or 30 days, with no subscription or automatic renewal. The displayed reference prices are €2.99 and €7.99 respectively; review the applicable total, taxes and currency at Checkout before ordering. A pass runs from the successful payment timestamp, once payment is verified. Plus includes additional homes and rooms, high-resolution PNGs, dimensioned PDFs, Room Packs and multiple unbranded 3D previews, subject to technical document limits. Pass recovery by verified email restores access, not local room documents. On expiry, additional Plus creation and exports stop; existing work remains editable and downloaded files stay yours.

Published previews and sharing

Publishing uploads only the home and rooms you select and confirm. You permit Roomfold to store and display that snapshot to provide the preview. Anyone with the unlisted link can view and download its scene data; do not publish confidential information or content you lack permission to share. Hosted previews expire after 30 days independently of pass duration. Revocation blocks further access immediately. Expired or revoked snapshots are queued for deletion, without a guaranteed deletion deadline. Previously downloaded copies cannot be recalled. Embedded editable-copy links are separate: they cannot be revoked and do not expire automatically.

Fair use and service changes

Do not misuse authentication, payment or publication systems, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or publish unlawful content. Access or publication may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security or legal obligations. Maintenance and security work may temporarily interrupt access. Changes to free features will be described in the service. Changes to a paid service remain subject to the contract and mandatory consumer rules; these terms do not permit arbitrary removal of paid benefits. Keep local backups. These terms do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Consumer rights and support

No additional voluntary money-back guarantee is offered. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights, including applicable withdrawal rights and remedies for failure to supply or lack of conformity. For eligible online consumer purchases, you may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days after the contract is concluded. Send an unambiguous statement to [email protected] identifying yourself and the purchase; you may use: “I withdraw from my contract for [pass], ordered on [date], order reference [reference], name [name], address [address], date [date].” A signature is required only for a paper notice. Where withdrawal applies, refunds follow the statutory time limits and ordinarily use the original payment method. Immediate access or acceptance of these terms alone does not waive withdrawal rights. Any lawful effect of a separate express immediate-performance request must be explained before purchase. If supply fails or the service does not conform to the contract, applicable law may entitle you to supply, correction, price reduction or termination and reimbursement. Updates

Version: 27 September 2026. Updated terms will be published here with their date. The terms supplied with a purchase govern that purchase. Later updates do not retroactively remove agreed paid benefits or statutory rights. Nothing here restricts mandatory protections or legal remedies available in your country of habitual residence.
